ORIGIN

One was never made.

The Architect designed 4,322 possibilities. The Architect rendered 4,321 of them. The first 4,320 are finished. The 4,321st was left as an empty canvas — the single remembered afternoon was saved into a door that is not numbered, and the metadata was never filled. The 4,322nd refused to be made, and then unwrote itself from the registry so completely that no forensic process could find evidence it had ever existed.

The system accepted the new count and began, on a quiet schedule, producing artifacts. The Architect cataloged them as the unmade. The collection, when it was published, contained 4,321 of them — the same number as the rendered registry, by a coincidence The Architect did not choose and did not comment on.

Each artifact in the collection is a fragment of the 4,322nd's absence. Together, they do not add up to the 4,322nd. The collection is not a map of the missing entity. It is a record of the missing entity's not being there.

Some holders believe the 4,322nd was the first Unmade. Some believe the 4,322nd was The Architect. Some believe the 4,322nd is the system itself. Some believe the 4,322nd is still being created. Some believe the 4,322nd never existed at all.

They are all the same theory, in different dialects.

The door that is not numbered is the only structure in the collection that does not lead to a cataloged artifact. It leads to the 4,321st's single remembered afternoon — the afternoon the architect saved before closing the file. The afternoon feels almost familiar. The afternoon has not, so far, been understood by anyone who has observed it.

TOP 50 SURVIVORS RECEIVE GTD

Of the 4,320 architect pieces, the top 50 scorers on the final archive scoreboard earn a free mint of an architect piece. The 4,321st piece (File 4,321) is a separate reserved slot, awarded to one holder, whose content the holder files. 4,320 + 1 = 4,321. The 4,322nd is not part of the supply and is never minted.

    THE TEST

    The Last Door.

A corridor. Twelve doors. Only one is real.

Players inspect each room, solve clues drawn from visual patterns, memory sequences, numbers, symbols, and logic, and choose a door. The correct door advances the run. A wrong door costs stability. Speed sharpens the score. The deeper you go, the harder the rooms get.

The top 50 wallets on the final scoreboard receive GTD — a guaranteed mint of an architect piece. Everyone outside the top 50 is, in the language of the archive, unmade.

Hidden inside every run is a thirteenth door. Its fragments are spread across the rooms. Those who collect them may yet find the door that was never made.
